"Instead of unity, we have found that the One-Law message sometimes brings disunity, fracturing, and dysfunction. There are several reasons for this. A few examples will illustrate the gravity of the situation. When Gentile believers are told that they are under an absolute mandate to keep the Torah in all its 613 commandments, they are left with little choice but to sever relationships with their Christian friends and families who do not share the same conviction." from "One Law and the Messianic Gentile" by Boaz Michael
So Boaz thinks that the One-Law message brings disunity--that One Law is the source of disunity. This is a Satanic lie. The real source of disunity between One Law Believers and Christians is this: TWO THOUSAND YEARS OF ANTI-JUDAISM AND ANTI-SEMITISM.
Christianity has caused enough evil without any help from the good people of One Law. Christians have been slaughtering Jews for two thousand years. They've been slandering Judaism for two thousand years (click here for post about adversus judaeos).
So if you are a One Law Believer out there who has run up against friction--don't blame yourself. Satanic anti-Judaism is the cause of the conflict, not you!
Pray for the men at FFOZ that G-d will bring them to the truth or at least nullify the damage they cause!
May Yeshua help the churches to transition out of Christianity and back into the pro-Judaic, Jewish Faith practiced by Yeshua and the Apostles! May we live to see such a revolution in our time!
"May Yeshua help the churches to transition out of Christianity and back into the pro-Judaic, Jewish Faith practiced by Yeshua and the Apostles! May we live to see such a revolution in our time!"
ReplyDeleteAnd then you believe we will have peace and unity?
"But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake."
"And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolk, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.
And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake."
"And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake."
"If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father."
Those who saw and hated were wearing Tzitzit, keeping Shabbat, bringing sacrifices, keeping Hanuka, practicing "Judaism" but Yeshua said for all of it "none of you keeps it" concerning the law of Moses. I don't think we should expect peace and unity.
But keeping the Law of Moses in Spirit and in Truth.....I'm all for that.....though it will get you hated and killed.
"But there shall not an hair of your head perish. In your patience possess ye your souls."
The only unity we can have is the unity of the Body of Yeshua.
DeleteAnonymous, why don't you tell everyone who you are? It's hard to decipher where you're coming from if people don't have any idea who you are. For example, we know Paul was a Jew who was for Judaism. This helps us understand Paul when he writes things that are difficult to understand.
So do us all a favor and help us to understand you better. Are you a Christian? Messianic? New Believer? Old Believer? Anything would help.
"Are you a Christian? Messianic? New Believer? Old Believer? Anything would help."
ReplyDeleteMy name is Steven. I am of G-d raised up a Son of Abraham. I believe everyone who names the name of Yeshua should keep the Law of Moses and worship G-d in Spirit and in Truth. I believe it is impossible to fulfill the Law of Moses while rejecting the Messiah sent from above with the words of G-d which are spirit and eternal life.
I understand what Paul was teaching, but it must always line up with what Yeshua said or we have either misunderstood or he did.
I believe that "Judaism", a religion without Messiah is without G-d, and make a pretense of keeping the Law of Moses. They hated Yeshua and they hated G-d. The law of Moses is something different fro "Judaism" and can only be fulfilled by those who love G-d and love his son.
Paul was not "a Jew who was for Judaism". Nor was Yeshua. Yeshua was a Jew who only did what he saw the Father doing. The Father was not seen "keeping the commandments of men" nor their traditions.
When Paul was converted....he had already been keeping the law in the way that brings death....he repented, believed, and began to keep the law of Moses in spirit and truth. He abandoned "Judaism" as I define it....without G-d, haters of G-d, for a "new and living way", love.
"but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father."
Steven,
DeleteSaying that Yeshua didn't practice Judaism, that He just happened to attend synagogue and wear tzitzit, is like saying that Babe Ruth didn't play baseball, he just happened to go to baseball games and swing a bat and make home runs.
Gotta let go of anti-Judaism folks. That path only leads to anti-Semitism.
Peter, you still misunderstand what I am teaching. Is this on purpose, you a lawyer can not think it through?
ReplyDeleteI believe in the law of Moses and that we should keep it, even the least commandment.
It is possible to believe you are keeping it and miss the mark. That is what happened to the Generation that Yeshua came to (except for a few).
Keeping the commandments without the "Spirit of the commandments" is Judaism.
Keeping the commandments WITH the "Ruach haKodesh" who will never tell you it is ok to break the least of the commandments IS the "Spirit of the Commandments".
Keeping the commandments with hatred in your heart for your King and Messiah ends in death, desolation and destruction. It ends with murder and spilling innocent blood.
Yeshua came so we could have life. If we already had life in the commandments he would not have had to die.
We have life in Yeshua despite our keeping the law, for we all broke it and were sentenced to death. That penalty was carried out in substitution.
Being free from the death sentence he prepares our hearts to receive his law and covers our sin until it is completed.
Judaism = Keeping the commandments without the spirit or Messiah, which means without G-d and with a heart full of hatred and every evil giving only an appearance of good on the outside.
The Way = Keeping the commandments with the Ruach haKodesh, with the King, which means WITH G-d and in Love. "And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more."
Now, what is anti-Semitic about that?
This is what all the Prophets taught, John taught who was "more than a prophet", Yeshua taught, the apostles taught, and now I teach.
It's a message of love to those who HEAR it and receive Yeshua and the Ruach. It is a message of warning to destruction to those who refuse to hear.
Do I hate the Jews because I teach what Yeshua told me to teach? It's not my message. It's G-d's message.
Steven
To me that was Anonymus says is prejudiced and anti-jewish. Yeshua was a Jew, "the Way" was a jewish sect, messianism developed within Judaism, was jewish. I dont think the majority of "classical" rabbis had or have hate in their hearts, on the contrary ! Paul taught to love non-believingjews ("the weak" in Romans), who rejected Yeshua because they were faithful to God and kept His commandments. I say this as someone having come out of Christianity.
ReplyDelete"I dont think the majority of "classical" rabbis had or have hate in their hearts,"
ReplyDeleteDanHenrik, you should read Yeshua's words. He is the one who says these "classical rabbis" hate him and his father.
John 15:24
"If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father."
Read his words, read them again, when you think you know them, read them again.
After reading them, G-d willing he will open your eyes and you will see they were NOT faithful to God and do NOT keep his commandments. That was the whole problem. He came to call the sinners, not the righteous.
It they had been faithful to God and kept his commandments Yeshua would have been gathering the righteous.
Two issues men who don't read the bible but pretend they do, two issues they have.
1) they think Yeshua came to bring peace, but he says no.....he came to bring a sword of division.
2) they think the Jews were faithful to G-d and kept his commandments.....he said "I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance."
For those who don't understand what that means....
1) Def. sinner....not faithful to G-d.
2) Def. righteous.....not breaking the commandments
3) Def repentance....return to faithfulness and keeping the commandments.
Why is everyone so fooled into thinking the rabbis are faithful and keeping the commandments?
I say this as someone who was never in "Christianity" but raised up in the Law of Moses. I am not prejudiced nor anti-Jewish. I am a son of Abraham. I am in the world, but not of the world. I am of the sheep fold of Yeshua Messiah. I know his voice, I know him and he know's me. Yeshua taught us to love even our enemies and that a man's enemies would be of his own household.
Those who rejected Yeshua have rejected his Father. That was one of Yeshua's clear teachings. It is recorded here:
John 15:23
He that hates me hates my Father also.
