Listen to the Songs of Synagogue Liturgy
Just stumbled across this Messianic synagogue website that has a section that not only allows you to listen to the music of the liturgy but also shows the Hebrew, Hebrew-English transliteration, and English for each song:
Yes, it's difficult to grow up in one synagogue where a certain melody is used and then to later attend a different synagogue and have to sing a new melody that you're not quite as fond of...
I say "difficult" but it's really such a minor thing in the grand scheme of things.
Very interesting. Our synagogue uses different melodies than this. I guess there isn't one set melody.
