I've been having some wonderful phone discussions with Pete from the Natsab Blog.  In his recent post, he refers to one of those conversations:

  3. “As for you, human being, don’t be afraid of them or their words, even if briars and thorns surround you, and you sit among scorpions. Don’t be afraid of their words or be upset by their looks, for they are a rebellious house."

  4. John 4:24 "God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."

You meshugenes are pushing the spirit but you omit the truth...

In order to create an "ephramite" camp, one has to prove that he is a descendant of Ephraim. So far you are failing miserably.....

    1. Dan,

I never said that I have Ephraimite ancestry. My identity is only in Yeshua and His Kingdom.

  5. You guys never say that but your action speaks louder words. Aren't you going to join peter in the Ephramite camp in a minute?

  6. Dan,

By what mechanism other than the myriad unfulfilled prophecies concerning Ephraim are the non-Jews grafted into Israel? Ephraim was ADOPTED, so am I!

  7. Is your father Jewish? Ephraim's father was....

Into what are you adopted actually, the Jewish people?

  8. "By what mechanism other than the myriad unfulfilled prophecies concerning Ephraim are the non-Jews grafted into Israel?"

How about believing in Yeshua instead of Ephraim? What a concept.....

  9. Ephraim's father was not Jewish, but his uncle was.

I am adopted into Israel, Jews being one part of that.

Believing in Yeshua is being adopted into Israel and having access to the covenants.

  10. Oh, Joseph was not Jewish...Good to know...I never knew this....How foolish of me....

Keep scratching your left ear with your right hand....Israel is part Jewish and part Gentiles. FYI, Ephraim belongs to the Jewish part...Don't let the facts confuse you.....

    1. "Don't let the facts confuse you..."

      Ha!

Joseph was a Hebrew, the son of Israel. Israel had another son, named... wait for it, 'Jew-Duh!' Jews come from the Southern kingdom, a conglomeration of Benjamin and Judah with some Levites and a few odd strap hangers. As Peter has pointed out, history, nor Scripture, nor the rabbis/sages indicate that the Northern Kingdom of Israel ever came home as they were supposed to... But this is what you choose to ignore and you call me confused. LOL!

      I love you bro.

A very good Messianic Jewish friend who came out of the bilateral ecclesiology camp sent me a text this morning,

"Just read Numbers 15:15. It is what you have been saying all along. Beautiful."

    2. A couple further thoughts,

By redefining terms, Judaism excludes the very people Israel was commanded to take in. "Jewish/Jew" is not synonymous with "Israelite/Israel."

There is no such thing as proselyte conversion anywhere in Scripture. It is an invention of man-made religious trappings. The correct model is Ruth: "Your people, my people; your God, my God; where you live, I live; where you die, I die." Simple.

The Karites have this right: Oral traditions have value, but are not binding, contrary to what most of Judaism teaches.

  11. "history, nor Scripture,"

who's history, yours? We heard this tired song and dance of the 2 house crowed, don't you have something new? Next thing you are going to tell us that you are entitled to a sit in the Kenesset...LOL!

Now, before you start any discussion you need to have a foundation, and you don't have any.....To begin with tell us what tribe you are from? BTW, nowhere in Scriptures does it state that the tribes are Gentiles, but again, don't let the facts confuse you...

You can point to the tribe you are from but of course you already decided that I am from the tribe of Judah, right? Where did you buy your theology, Wal-Mart?

  12. "Joseph was a Hebrew, the son of Israel."

Oh, the son of Israel is not Israel, he is Hebrew....You should study engineering, you are good at engineering a new theology...Been there, done that....
