As anyone knows who reads this blog, I find Gene to be fascinating, brilliant, and, yes, frequently enigmatic. One of the most intriguing things Gene has said (and I'm paraphrasing) is that gentiles are members of the New Covenant and thus obligated to follow Torah...(wait for it)...that applies to them as gentiles.
So let's think about what Gene is REALLY saying here. He's saying that the "one law" principle stated in Torah only applies to members of the Sinaitic Covenant and that the only way for a gentile to join that covenant is via ritual circumcision. Gentiles are members in the New Covenant but, according to him, not members of the Sinaitic Covenant (unless they ritually circumcise).
ON TO THE QUESTION:
Do you think that gentiles are members only of New Covenant, Sinaitic Covenant, or both?

DeleteAs far as Christians, I think that HaShem is summoning them to help Israel--even as we speak. I can report to you that I've witnessed them flying the Israeli flag--in their actual church buildings. And so HaShem is telling me that I have been harsh with them. They are, in some ways, like Avraham avinu, going through the process of eliminating all traces of paganism even as G-d draws them out and brings them to Har Sinai--yes, even Har Sinai. Let's keep in mind that we do not know which souls HaShem may have gathered on that day. And so we should be gentile toward those whom HaShem is secretly purifying. It is, after all, His prerogative. As Yeshayahu says, "...And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Adonai, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Adonai from Jerusalem."

Shalom Peter, thanks for the kind reply, I appreciate it. I am all for Christians and Messianics supporting Israel and being friendly to me despite theological differences. I know several people and continue to speak to some Messianics and Christians that are great people. While I may come down a bit harder on things in my blog, I have to lay it out as it is. I am more welcoming and sympathetic on an individual level.
