Is Yeshua Divine?

Well, obviously I believe He is.  But it was recently brought to my attention that several Messianics are promoting the view that Yeshua is not G-d.

So read these links and I'd like to hear your thoughts on the doctrine of Trinity and the doctrine of Yeshua's divinity.  Let's try to have a civilized discussion.

  2. Technically, I'm not a Messianic (or a JW) and I'm not promoting the view that Yeshua is not a divine being. Also, the article you linked is one of the first I wrote on this topic. For a better overview of my position, I would encourage those who are interested to read ALL my articles on this difficult topic. They can be found here:

    1. Do you believe in the doctrine of the Trinity and the deity of Yeshua? You might want to clarify since folks have gotten the impression that you deny both doctrines. I only posted this because I had been contacted by someone who was confused by what you'd written.

      Shalom brother,

    2. No, I don't believe in the Trinity doctrine. I do believe that Yeshua is a divine 'elohim, but subordinate to YHVH the Father. Some of the problem is that there is a tremendous amount of confusion and misunderstanding about what it means to be 'elohim ("God," "god," or "gods"). But most of the problem is that erroneous and confusing tradition (i.e., the "Trinity" doctrine) has become a litmus test for "Christian" orthodoxy.
