2 Ways The United States Hurts Israel (With Examples)

Psalm 137:5 "If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget her skill." 

Isaiah 62:1  "For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth."

OVERVIEW OF THE PROBLEM

As I see it, there are two chief ways in which United States foreign policy hurts Israel:

(1) the U.S. encourages Israel to make illegitimate concessions to Palestinians and;

(2) the U.S. discourages and condemns legitimate Israeli actions such as settlement within Israel and justified pre-emptive military strikes designed to preserve Israeli national security.

THE TWO-STATE MISTAKE

The United States has an official policy of promoting a so-called "Two-State Solution" which is code for taking Biblical Land away from Jews that was given to them by G-d and also code for destroying Israel's national security.

First, we know that G-d gave extensive Land to the descendants of Abraham via an everlasting covenant.  Second, we know from examples such as Gaza that when you give Land away to Palestinians that they use that Land as a staging area for attacks on Israel.  

OBAMA'S ANTI-ISRAEL IDEOLOGY

In June of 2009, Obama addressed the Muslim world and said:

"The United States does not accept the legitimacy of continued Israeli settlements. This construction violates previous agreements and undermines efforts to achieve peace. It is time for these settlements to stop."

In May 2011, Obama called for Israel to return to the indefensible "Auschwitz lines"--a return to the 1967 borders (which would mean 300,00+ Israelis would have to leave their homes and Israel would be left in a geographically indefensible position):

"We believe the borders of Israel and Palestine should be based on the 1967 lines with mutually agreed swaps, so that secure and recognized borders are established for both states."

HISTORY OF UNITED STATES CONDEMNATION OF LEGITIMATE SELF-DEFENSIVE MEASURES TAKEN BY ISRAEL

Did you know that after June 7, 1981 when Israel justifiably destroyed an Iraqi nuclear reactor (I say justifiably because of the regional instability and the fact that the reactor was capable of producing Hiroshima-sized atomic bombs) the United States voted for a U.N. Security Council resolution CONDEMNING Israel?  Resolution 487 said:

"...Deeply concerned about the danger to international peace and security created by the premeditated Israeli air attack on Iraqi nuclear installations on 7 June 1981...[the U.N. therefore] condemns the military attack..."

CONCLUSION

Brothers and Sisters, pray for our country!  G-d has promised to curse those who curse Israel.  Do you not think He has the power to destroy the United States in a single day?  In a millisecond?  Our country must stop telling Israel to exchange the Land for peace--this doesn't work.  Our country must stop telling Israel that it is dangerous for Israelis to build on Israeli territory!
